Acetaminophen Side Effects (in pregnancy)

Paracetamol or acetaminophen side effects in pregnancy and...

We use a well-known drug acetaminophen also called paracetamol or Tylenol to calm the discomfort of flu, fever and mild pain, which can do horrible harm to your baby if you consume it regularly and in high doses, primarily in the first three months of gestation.

Acetaminophen: The Best Option?

Acetaminophen is one of the few medicines that pregnant women can take. While it is best not to take any throughout the pregnancy if the mother suffers from constipation has no choice but to seek the least harmful solution and attend a medicine to prosper their health. If you opt for natural drugs, know that there are abortive plants that are closer than you think, as simple as rue, parsley, mint, oregano, and others that are very dangerous for your child.

The process of pregnancy is very fragile and solving the discomforts you feel without your baby suffering the consequences is a part of the rather difficult process. Preventing illness is not an alternative, it is a duty. Remember, it’s not just about you, you’re carrying another life in your womb.
A healthy diet will take care of both you and your baby, and will help their development by providing them with the nutrients they need to maintain good health.

What diseases can excess acetaminophen cause in your baby?

An excess of paracetamol during pregnancy would be like an intoxication for your baby, wearing down his organism and forming illnesses he will suffer from all his life. There are more and more premature births and abortions because of strong drugs consumed by the mother.

After a series of investigations by CREAL (Centro de Investigación en Epidemiología Ambiental, in Spain) to find out what were the causes of asthma in small children, which according to this hypothesis develops throughout pregnancy, paracetamol was accused of causing damage to the body of the embryo in the first months. But really, could it be because of paracetamol? Since, fifty percent of women throughout pregnancy consume this medicine, raising the chances that this drug used as a tranquilizer in pregnant women causes this and considerably more diseases.

Another consequence of acetaminophen in pregnancy is that it affects the reproductive organs of your baby, making it likely to be infertile when it becomes an adult.

Asthma and infertility are only 2 of the diseases that according to the research can result from consuming this medicine, this is not a confirmation, it has not banned the product for pregnant women.
